Scholarships and Awards
Student Support and Faculty Excellence, through Scholarships & Awards
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is deeply committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder deserving students from accessing world-class management education. Through a robust scholarship framework, IIMA supports students based on both merit and need, fostering an inclusive academic environment that attracts talent from diverse backgrounds.
Since its inception in 2021, the IIMA Endowment Fund (IIMAEF) has played a pivotal role in advancing this vision. Between 2021 and 2025, a total of 343 students have benefited from scholarships supported by IIMAEF and its donors. In the academic year 2024–25 alone, 159 scholarships were awarded to students across various programs—honouring their academic merit, leadership potential, and personal journeys.
These scholarships not only alleviate the financial burden for recipients but also inspire students to pursue excellence and contribute meaningfully to society.

- Endowment Supported Scholarships
In addition to the I-Schols, donors and supporters have established scholarships towards ensuring students continue their path of excellence at IIM Ahmedabad.
Student Awards
At IIMA, awards are instituted to recognise and celebrate the meritorious performance of students across all programmes in diverse areas of excellence. These awards are made possible through the generous support of donors and alumni, whose contributions help nurture talent, encourage academic and co-curricular achievements, and inspire future leaders. Students from all programmes and disciplines are eligible, ensuring that excellence is recognised across the Institute
Faculty Awards
IIMA honours its faculty members through awards that recognise excellence in teaching, research, and case writing. These awards are presented to faculty who demonstrate outstanding teaching effectiveness, contribute significantly to cutting-edge research, and publish high-impact cases that advance management knowledge and practice. They reflect the Institute’s commitment to fostering academic distinction and thought leadership.
