As India charts its path toward inclusive and sustainable growth, the Accelerating India’s Development Conference (AID) hosted by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in association with India CSR, will convene visionary leaders from business, philanthropy, academia, and policy.
Over the last sixty years, the Institute has worked towards creating lasting impact, enabling students from diverse backgrounds to access world-class education and supporting faculty in pursuing cutting-edge research across disciplines. Together, these efforts contribute to IIMA’s mission of driving thought leadership and advancing India’s development agenda.
This conference holds special significance as it brings together IIMA’s six decades of leadership in nation-building under one collective platform – AID. The Conference will be a day of insightful discussions and collaboration, exploring how we can collectively create impact through Collaborative Social Responsibility and contribute to a Viksit Bharat.
The four strategic pillars of AID are:
- Rural Entrepreneurship & Livelihoods: Foster sustainable rural development by promoting entrepreneurship, livelihood enhancement, and innovative solutions tailored to rural India’s socio-economic and cultural challenges.
- Training for Good: Empower diverse demographic groups with practical skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities through targeted training programs- women, farmers, rural youth, and social sector professionals.
- Al for Good: Develop innovative, data-driven solutions that address critical societal challenges across India, aiming to improve governance, public welfare, and urban management by integrating AI into existing systems.
- Innovation and Research for Good: Design and implement innovative, scalable programs that foster sustainable social impact by leveraging IIMA’s expertise in strategy for CSR, family philanthropy, and social sector organisations.
