Donors in the US
Modalities of Contributing to IIMA for Donors in the US
Donors from the US have 2 ways to contribute to IIMA. They can either contribute to the IIMA
Alumni Association USA or transfer funds directly to IIMA.
- 1) Contributing via IIMA Alumni Association USA
Contributions made to the IIMA Alumni Association USA are tax deductible as a 501(c)(3) Tax
ID No.: 22-3749107 (charitable or not-for-profit organization).
Note: Please do not remit funds from NRO / NRE a/c’s.
Funds can be transferred to IIMA Alumni Association USA via a Cheque as described below:

dean-aer@iima.ac.in mentioning the purpose of the donation, fullname and mailing address. If possible, please
attach a screenshot of the transfer.
The contributions would be to 501 c (3) USA (Tax ID No.: 22-3749107) Charity for tax purposes. A receipt would be sent
after your contribution is credited to the bank account. Subsequently, your contributed funds would be transferred to
IIMA.

- 2) Direct transfer to IIMA
Contributions may be sent to IIMA’s FCRA account at SBI (account information/details
provided below).
Note: Please do not remit funds from NRO / NRE a/c’s.
Please note, there is no tax benefit available on these receipts with funds from abroad.
