Scholarships
IIMA has a history of supporting students through Industry Scholarship (I-Schol) Certificates for over
4 decades. These scholarships have been set up to help meritorious students have access to the best

The PGP 2001- Peri Vishwanath Merit-cum-Means Scholarship has been set up at IIMA with a

Awards
Beyond the scholarships, IIMAEF also supports and manages the following awards given to students

1. Shantanu Agrawal Award
The Shantanu Agrawal Award for Academic Excellence has been set up at IIMA with a generous
contribution from Ms Manju Agrawal & Mr Arunabh Saxena in memory of our Alum Mr Shantanu
Agrawal.
2. Prof VL Mote Award
The Prof. VL Award for Academic Excellence has been at IIMA with a generous contribution from
Multiple Alums in memory of the esteemed Prof. VL Mote.
3. Dakshesh Verma Memorial Award
The Dakshesh Verma Memorial Award has been set up at IIMA with a generous contribution from
Mr Mahavir Prasad Verma in memory of our Alum Mr Dakshesh Verma
4. Harit Talwar Award for Best Female Outperformer
The Harit Talwar Award for Best Female Outperformer has been set up at IIMA with a generous
contribution from Mr Harit Talward (PGP 1985)
5. Sajeev Sirpal Memorial Academic and Creativity Excellence Award
The award is set up in the memory of Mr Sanjeev Sirpal (PGP 1984) by Ms Kanaka Sirpal and friends
to recognise excellence in academics and creativity among students. We thank Ms Kanaka Sirpal and
friends for the generous support.
6. Prof. Abhinandan Jain Marketing Gold Medal for Marketing
This award set up with the generous support of Prof. A.K. Jain, is given to the student excelling in
Marketing Courses. We thank Prof. Jain for generous support.
7. Desh Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance
This award was instituted by Kamdhenu Foundation in memory of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first
President of India. It is given to a student who obtains the highest-grade points in the two years of
the programme. We thank the Kamdhenu Foundation for its generous support.
8. Smt. J. Nagamma Memorial Award - PGP 1
This award was instituted in memory of Smt. J. Nagamma by her son Mr. Pramod Kunju (PGP 1999)
to recognize excellence in academics. It is given to a student who obtains highest CGPA at the end of
the first year. We thank Mr Pramod Kunju for his generous support.
9. S.K. Seth Memorial Award
Instituted by Mrs. Shanti Seth in memory of her husband, late Shri S.K. Seth, the first Librarian of the
Institute, this award is given to the student who obtains the highest-grade points in the first year of
the programme. We thank Mrs Shanti Seth for her continuous and generous support.
10. S. Umapathy Prize
Instituted by the brother of late S. Umapathy to recognize the academic excellence of a student and
to honour the memory of Umapathy’s association with the Institute, this prize is given to the first
year PGP topper. We thank the family of Mr Umapathy for their continuous and generous support.
11. Outstanding Sportsperson Award
This award was instituted by Mr. Sunil Chainani (PGP 1980). It is awarded to the student who does
excellent all-round performance in sports during the tenure at IIMA. We thank Mr Chainani for his
continuous and generous support.
12. Quetzal Gold Medal for All-rounder PGP Woman Student
The PGP Woman All Rounder Excellence Gold Medal instituted by Quetzal Foundation, recognizes
the all-round performance of an outstanding woman student. We thank the Quetzal Foundation for
their continuous and generous support.
13. K.V. Srinivas Award for Best PGP All-Rounder
The Kollengode V. Srinivas Award was instituted by the parents of late Kollengode V. Srinivas to
recognize the all-round performance of an outstanding student and to honour the memory of
Srinivas’ association with the Institute. We thank the Srinivas Family for their continuous and
generous support.
14. Anita and Jagdish Lal Garg Outperformer Award
This award was instituted by Ms Geeta Garg, PGP-ABM alumni of the 2013-15 batch of IIMA is given
to the best performer of the PGP-FABM programme. We thank Ms Garg for her continued and
generous support.
15. Best All Rounder PGP-FABM Woman Student Award
This award was instituted by Mrs. Meenakshi Mathur, wife of late Mr. R C Mathur, PMA 1972 batch
