1. Arun Duggal Centre of Excellence for ESG Research

The Centre of Excellence for Environment, Social & Governance research at IIMA is supported by the generous contribution of Mr Arun Duggal (PGP 1974). The Centre contributes to development of nascent ESG ecosystem in India and help Indian enterprises integrate ESG into their core business and investment decisions, transitioning towards future of responsible capitalism and sustainable relationship with the planet.

2. The Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development

The Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development, supported by Mr. Ashank Desai (PGP 1979) aims to bring together faculty, students, governmental, non- governmental, and private organisations to conduct distinctive and high-quality leadership and organisational development research. 3. Brij Disa Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

The Brij Disa Centre for Data Analysis & Artificial Intelligence is supported by the generous contribution of Mr Dipak Gupta (PGP 1985).
It provides a common platform to faculty, scholars and practitioners for conducting and disseminating cutting-edge research on data analytics and AI that offers solutions applicable to business, governance and policy. Besides Data-driven Policy Enablement, initiatives also include Case-based research and to develop case studies, Annual Report which provides holistic view of the industry, identify challenges and gaps, gauge scope and offer plausible solutions for industry and policy makers.

4. Centre for Digital Transformation

The Centre focuses to enhance understanding of digital ecosystem leveraging its expertise in R&D. The Centre’s vision is to be a thought leader, guiding India and world as digitalization rapidly penetrates every area of life by helping to develop skill sets that bring about responsible digital transformation. Some of the themes on which it focuses are:
  • Digitally enabled customer participation for co-creation and co-innovation
  • Neuroscientific dynamics underlying customer interactions with technology

5. Centre for Management of Health Services (CMHS)

The Centre for Management of Health Services at IIMA is supported by the generous contribution of the PGP 1994 Batch. It is one of the oldest centres set up in 2004 in recognition of IIMA’s contributions to health sector in the past and the need to strengthen the management of health sector in context of socio-economic developments of our country.

6. Centre for Transportation and Logistics (CTL)

CTL contributes to improving efficiency of multi-modal transportation systems and supply chain logistics, thereby promoting economic growth and fostering sustainable development. The Centre’s vision is to facilitate cutting-edge multidisciplinary program of research in transportation, logistics and allied areas, and thereby contribute to practice and policymaking in India and abroad. Some of the Research Areas in Logistics are:
  • Optimisation of networks, transportation mode, order fulfilment
  • Strategies for sustainable urban freight and last-mile connectivity
  • Reducing environmental impacts and enhancing resilience of transportation systems

7. Gender Centre

The mission of Gender Centre is to foster gender equality, inclusivity and empowerment, serve as a dynamic catalyst for change, promoting interdisciplinary research, facilitating collaborations. It also provides insights into status of gender equality and related indicators to understand trend and identify areas for interventions to bring impactful change through research on diverse themes from labor-saving technologies in agriculture to corporate laws

8. IIMA Ventures

IIMA Ventures was built as an entrepreneurship centre and recognised as CoE by DST, GoI, the innovation continuum studies, educates, incubates, accelerates and invests in early- stage startups, aspiring entrepreneurs and investors. The academic centre hosts a variety of courses and projects on innovation and entrepreneurship for students.
IIMA Ventures has mentored over 7000 founders, accelerated over 1500 startups, provided catalytic capital to over 700 companies and inspired over a million people with 400+ publications

9. India Gold Policy Centre (IGPC)

IGPC Centre was set up with grant from World Gold Council for conducting applied research on Gold Industry, that provides insights and suggest ways the findings can be put into execution for bringing reforms in the Indian gold market. As a think tank, IGPC shoulders the responsibility of functioning as a beacon for India’s gold industry to transform it into a sustainable transparent ethical ecosystem

10. The Kamla Chowdhry Communications Hub

The Kamla Chowdhry Communication Hub at IIMA is supported by the generous contribution of Ms Mr Roopa & Vivek Kudva (PGP 1986).
The Hub, named after its first faculty member, Professor Kamla Chowdhry was set up in 2022 to honour her outstanding contribution to IIMA's growth and success. The Hub functions as a unified unit serving the Institute's and all of its internal and external stakeholders' needs. Its mandate includes bringing in best practices and innovative ideas to assist the Institute in communicating, engaging, and influencing in the ever-changing digital world.

11. Misra Centre for Financial Markets & Economy

The Misra Centre for Financial Markets & Economy at IIMA is supported by the generous contribution from Mr Peeyush Misra (PGP 1999).
The Centre provides impetus for focused research papers, studies, and periodic reports related to formulation of policy, market structure/regulations including central banks' mandate, monetary policy, fiscal developments, microstructure including commodities, banking, bond markets, SME Financing and so on. The Centre invites visitors from universities and organizations in India and abroad for collaboration. The Committee has renowned experts; Prof. Raghuram Rajan and Dr Prachi Mishra, IMF to name a few.

12. NSE Centre for Behavioral Science (CBS)

This Centre supported with a grant from the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., is a first- of-its-kind in a management institution in India, aims to build cross-disciplinary platform for conducting and disseminating research grounded in neuro-scientific and behavioral knowledge across diverse fields of management; finance, economics, marketing, organizational behavior and human resource. CBS is equipped with EEG system, Eye Tracker, and Galvanic Skin Response (GSR)
