6. JSW School of Public Policy

The JSW School of Public Policy (JSW-SPP) at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is a Centre of Excellence in the making. Established with support from the JSW Group, it seeks to make a distinctive contribution to the field of public policy by engaging in leading-edge research and training the next generation of policy practitioners.

7. Marico - Teacher's Training Programme

IIMA Endowment Fund facilitated raising CSR funds from Marico Limited for a training aimed at education and leadership development of 1 lakh+ government school teachers from across the country. This one-year long programme was aimed at upgrading leadership skills of current school teachers through 40 high-quality e-content video tutorials in Hindi; focusing at key leadership values such as managing expectations, data-driven decision-making for school improvement, school discipline & emotional well-being and many more. It is supported by Marico Limited and implemented by Ashank Desai Centre for Leadership and Organisational Development

8. SMILE

SMILE is a student mediated initiative aimed at helping kids from underprivileged backgrounds in doing well in education & assisting in their overall development. The primary aim of the club is to provide equal opportunity of availing quality education and holistic development to kids coming from a marginalized background in localities of Vastrapur, Ahmedabad with the support of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and IIM Ahmedabad. The initiative is supported by IIMA AA Ahmedabad Chapter, PGP 1991 Batch and Edelweiss Financial Services Limited

9. Bio-diversity Study at IIMA Campus

IIMA collaborated with Saint-Gobain India to conduct a study for creating biodiversity habitats at the IIMA campus. The MoU aims to support conducting a baseline assessment study for determining the overall strategic design to enhance the ecological biodiversity at IIMA and map the existing biodiversity clusters in and around IIMA Campus, including open spaces, which can potentially be developed for the said objective. This MoU is a step in the right direction as industry-academia collaborate for a better future for the environment.

10. Art Project at IIMA Campus

The goal of IIMA PGP 1980 batch for supporting the Art Project is to populate the sprawling IIMA Campus with art in a manner that not only beautifies the Complex and elevates the spirit but also becomes the starting point for pedagogical enquiry appropriate to an Institute of Management. Appreciating the benefits of being surrounded by art can open the student’s mind not only to culture, but also to a better understanding of the whole category of luxury and experiential goods and services. Surely the study of art/creativity in an economic context, art as an uber luxury business, art as an asset class, art for tourism, etc., are all subjects worthy of study at IIMA

11. PwC Research & Innovation Forum in ESG

IIMA in collaboration with PwC India, announced the establishment of the ‘PwC ESG Research and Innovation Forum’. PwC ESG Forum at IIMA is envisaged to be an avenue for knowledge sharing and exchange among the ESG stakeholders; driven by a marquee event or series of events that the Forum will host at IIMA. This initiative comes as a step towards contributing to India’s commitment to the net zero agenda and upcoming BRSR regulations by widening and deepening the sustainability impact in the Indian industry.

12. P P Gupta Auditorium

Mr. PP Gupta (PGP 1974), the Managing Director of Techno Electric and Engineering Company Ltd. Has contributed for the upgradation of the IMDC auditorium to international standards and its maintenance for the next 25 years.

13. IIFL Swimming Pool

Mr. Nirmal Jain (PGP 1989), the Founder and Chairman of the IIFL Group has generously contributed towards improving sports and recreation amenities at IIM Ahmedabad, with the IIFL Swimming Pool being a much loved addition to the campus.

14. 1985 Batch Donation

Alumni from the PGP 1985 batch have contributed generously to the IIMA General Corpus. The funds are being utilised by the IIMA for its future growth strategy based on institutional priority.

15. Mental Wellbeing Initiative- Supported by Batch of 1993

The PGP 1993 Batch is supporting the setting up of an initiative focused on promoting mental wellbeing of IIMA community including students, faculty members and staff at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. This contribution will help fund the resources and related expenses for carrying out the activities in mental health; under the guidance of the Institute. We are grateful to the Institute faculty and administration for their support.
